The ASX-112FR Flowing Rinse MicroAutosampler is a compact and reliable device designed to streamline the handling of small volume samples (below 2 mL) within a cleanroom setting. Its innovative design allows it to be conveniently placed on the top cover of an AridusII or a lab bench, providing users with a space-saving solution for their needs.
The ASX-112FR is uniquely engineered with a dual continuous flow rinse station, which operates in gas displacement (GDP) or peristaltic pump mode. This feature reduces the risk of sample contamination and carryover.
The device is made with contamination and corrosion-resistant materials. Sample vials, racks, and trays are all metal-free, fabricated from acid-resistant, high-purity polymer materials. It also comes with an integrated, transparent cover to ensure minimum sample contamination, with a hinged door for easy access to samples.
Offering flexible rack options, the ASX-112FR MicroAutosampler can handle sample volumes from as low as 0.5 mL up to 14 mL. Short style sample racks can accommodate 24, 48, or 96 sample vials, while tall style racks can hold 30 or 42 sample vials.
The MicroAutosampler comes with sample probes that are either individual or integrated into the CFlow PFA nebulizer, made of inert materials with carbon fiber support. To avoid probe damage, the ASX-112FR has a unique reset feature for the sample probe that safeguards it against contact with hard surfaces, such as the edge of a sample vial.
The ASX-112FR is designed for compatibility with a range of ICP-MS instruments, including multicollector ICP-MS types. It has been utilized in various applications across different industries, such as semiconductors, environmental, and geological research.
