De Hydra IIC is een volledig geautomatiseerde analyzer voor het meten van de kwik (Hg) concentraties in vaste en half vaste stoffen en ook vloeistoffen. Door de gebuikte techniek is het niet nodig om een monster te ontsluiten (geen monstervoorbereiding). De techniek omvat het verbranden van het monster, amalgamering van het kwik en meting door middel van koude damp atomaire absorptie (CVAAS). Het grote voordeel van de Hydra IIc is het feit dat er geen monstervoorbereiding nodig is waardoor er tijd en chemicaliën worden bespaard. Ook de mogelijke fouten in een monstervoorbereiding worden voorkomen (geen contaminatie).

De QuickTrace® M-8000 koude damp-atoomfluorescentie (CVAFS) kwik analyzer is ideaal voor kwantificering van ultra-trace tot sub-mg/l kwik concentraties. Met pre-concentratie (goud-amalgamering) wordt de ultra-trace detectielimiet van <0,05 ng/L (ppt) met gemak behaald. De NEN-EN-ISO 12846 vereist deze pre-concentratie. De QuickTrace® M-8000 is ook veelzijdig genoeg om monsters >400 μg/L (ppb) te analyseren in een onderzoek- of industriële omgeving zonder verdunning.

The DC Arc technique has been relied upon for decades as a tool for the direct analysis of a wide range of solid materials. The earliest systems, many of which are still in use today, were photographic plate spectrographs. These systems offered the advantage of providing a permanent photographic record of a samples spectrum, but also carried with it the cumbersome need to view and interpret photographic plates. These early generation instruments were replaced, first by PMT-based simultaneous spectrometers and then CID based DC Arc spectrometers, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

AquaTek

Aqua Tek LVA

The AQUATek LVA is a full automation solution for routine analysis of waters by purge and trap concentration. It utilizes a fixed volume loop that is filled with liquid sample, internal and/or surrogate standards are added, and then the sample is transferred to the Lumin or Stratum PTC. Upon completion of the purge step by the concentrator, the AQUATek LVA then initiates a clean up cycle where the sample loop and concentrator sparger are cleaned with 90o C water via the two-stage water heater.

Atomx XYZ

The Atomx XYZ is the second generation combined soil/water autosampler and purge and trap concentrator system in the Tekmar VOC product family. It is the only instrument of its kind to employ a unique automated methanol extraction feature for high level soils in accordance with USEPA Method 5035. Methanol rinsing, dilutions capability and three standard addition vessels all come standard on the Atomx XYZ. While priced competitively, the system offers unique features that cannot be found on any other sample prep system on the market today.
